What is a side event?
What are IVS OFFICIAL SIDE EVENTS?
At IVS, events organized by IVS attendees during, before, and after the main conference are called side events. We started this initiative in 2023, and last year saw nearly 500 IVS side events held.
It is official content that complements and deepens themes and issues that cannot be fully covered at IVS2026, and expands the ecosystem. It is positioned as a place that connects the value of the communities participants have with IVS's draw, creating new encounters and co-creation.
From morning until night, many unique, specialized events will be held. Because there are so many, check the program details in advance, sign up if necessary, and plan ahead. You can check the latest information on this page.
Another important role is to create opportunities that do not leave participants as mere recipients, but transform them into stakeholders who take on the next challenge. And we are looking for programs that generate relationships and tangible outcomes that continue even after the main IVS event ends.

It's convenient to keep your 4S pass in your wallet!
For the IVS2026 side events, we ask you to create your events using the "4S" community system. This system allows you to check in with a single, personalized QR code unique to you, rather than using different QR codes for each event. To set this up, log in on your smartphone, open the menu in the top right corner, and select "My QR Code." From there, you can add the pass to your Apple Wallet. Please make sure to have this ready before you attend so you can enjoy a smooth check-in process!

Points to note when participating in side events
The organizers and hosts of side events are different from those of IVS. Please direct any inquiries to the respective hosts. IVS is unable to answer them.

Certified "Official Side Events" have passed our screening and are supported because of their high correlation with our content; however, IVS does not assume responsibility for their organization or operation.
There are reports of harassment and trouble during networking. IVS opposes harassment, violence, and nuisance behavior in all situations. As this is a place where many people participate, please participate with courtesy and respect.

I want to host a side event!
Whether as an individual or an organization, you too can host a side event.
Once certified as an official side event, you will be provided with a badge, added to the event playlist on "4S Platform" (the side event tool for IVS2026), and become searchable by IVS2026 attendees. Additionally, you will receive one referral ticket for the IVS PASS.
