Whether you are an executive or a policymaker, there are things that can be said publicly and things that cannot. At IVS CORE, in order to encourage serious discussion, we made it our basic policy to prohibit all sessions from being recorded, audio-recorded, or posted on social media.
Each session is 90 minutes long. We have structured them to be longer than the sessions at IVS itself. Rather than "talking briefly and only covering the key points," the time is designed to allow us to "settle in and discuss things thoroughly."
Speakers, including former cabinet ministers and current ministers, will be announced in due course.

I haven’t been invited, but can I join?

IVS CORE is completely invitation-only, so you cannot apply directly without an invitation from the organizer. If you register for the Waiting List, we will give you priority notice if seats become available or additional invitations are issued.

Can I participate in CORE with an IVS PASS (regular pass)?
A
With an IVS PASS, you cannot enter the CORE area. To attend CORE, you need either a CORE PASS or a CORE PASS Startup. In addition, anyone with a CORE PASS can enter the IVS2026 main venue on all days.

What specifically is prohibited in Off-the-Record?
A
Recording, audio recording, photography, and posting, quoting, or summarizing the content on social media or similar platforms during the session are strictly prohibited. We operate as a closed space based on mutual trust among participants.

What is the difference between CORE PASS and CORE PASS Startup?
A
The experience is the same; only the price and eligibility differ. Both are subject to screening. CORE PASS Startup is a pass for business owners who meet conditions such as being within 7 years of founding and having secured funding.

Where should I go on Friday, 7/3, the last day?
A
The CORE program at Hotel Okura Kyoto will run until Thursday, 7/2. On Day 3, please enjoy the IVS AREA, including LAUNCHPAD, at the main IVS venue (Miyakomesse / ROHM Theatre Kyoto).

Can I cancel or get a refund?

We do not accept cancellations or refunds due to customer circumstances. However, if participation is denied at the organizer’s discretion, we will issue a full refund.

Can I transfer the pass to someone else?
A
CORE PASS is non-transferable. It is valid only for the person who purchased it.

Would it be possible to issue an invoice?
A
Yes, we can issue invoices. Please let us know during the checkout process.
