There are three positions listed below. All hires will be made as Director or Member.

The IVS2026 operating organization is composed of function-based teams.
Each Team has a three-tier structure of Head (leader) ― Director ― Member, and the body made up of all Heads is the highest decision-making body.
Director is a position that oversees everything from planning to team operations. (See the IVS2026 organizational structure here)
1. Networking Planning Director
Mission
Lead end-to-end the experience of creating organic connections among participants across multiple networking areas at the IVS venue, from planning and design through on-site execution.
Main Responsibilities
Planning, designing, and executing networking programs
Recruiting assigned members for each area and forming teams
Progress management and information sharing with each area lead
Overall on-site operations management and field leadership
Required Qualifications (Must)
✅ Experience in planning of some kind, such as events, communities, or services
✅ Comfortable communicating asynchronously (Slack, Notion, etc.)
✅ Someone who resonates with the IVS mission and community
Preferred Qualifications (Want)
Experience participating in IVS
Expertise or insight in networking and community design
2. Overseas VIP Coordination Director
Mission
Deliver seamless hospitality to VIP participants visiting Japan from overseas, from pre-arrival guidance to on-site support, creating an IVS experience that makes them want to come again.
Main Responsibilities
Understanding the needs of overseas VIP guests and planning content accordingly
Examples include inbound sightseeing tours and special on-site hospitality
Pre-event and on-site communication with overseas VIP guests
On-site venue assistance on the day (English will be used)
Required Qualifications (Must)
✅ Business-level English or above (comfortable switching between formal and casual styles)
✅ Comfortable communicating asynchronously (Slack, Notion, etc.)
✅ Someone who resonates with the IVS mission and community
Preferred Qualifications (Want)
Experience participating in IVS
Connections and networks with overseas startups, VCs, and investors
Operational or hospitality experience at global events, international conferences, trade shows, or international sporting events
3. Guest Connector Director
Mission
At IVS CORE, held on July 1–2, proactively design and create opportunities for VIP participants to meet one another. Leverage a broad network in the startup industry to maximize the value of participants' connections.
Main Responsibilities
Designing and executing matching and introductions among VIP participants
Understanding participants' interests and needs, and making the best possible introductions
Actively engaging in networking sessions and energizing the environment
Sharing feedback with the team and proposing improvements
Required Qualifications (Must)
✅ Well-connected across the startup, VC, and large-corporate innovation fields
✅ Familiar with the key players in the startup industry
✅ Someone who resonates with the IVS mission and community
Preferred Qualifications (Want)
Multiple participation experiences in IVS or similar startup conferences
Work experience in the startup industry, community management, or research
Knowledge of trends and key players in the startup industry both in Japan and abroad

Work and Contract Conditions
Activity period: from contract execution until the close of IVS2026
Work time, compensation, and subcontracting conditions: For the planning staff, work will basically be on a pro bono basis. Depending on your abilities and conditions, other arrangements may also be considered. Please consult us
